Our sarees are 5.5 meters in length for sarees without blouse piece and 6.2 meters for sarees with blouse piece and the width is approximately 47- 49 inches
Products on our website are handmade, and we do our best to be as precise as possible. However, there may be minor variations in the colour of the fabric due to individual screen resolution, dyes, prints, or embroideries. Since these are mostly handloom, there can be minor changes and irregularities, which we believe add to the charm of handloom.
Sorry, we do not customise a single saree according to a particular combination. It is difficult to make just one saree, as the production cost goes higher. We will in the future consider these requests.

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Return accepted only if received wrong product. Products bought during sale can only be exchanged and are non-refundable.
If you have received a defective or wrong product, it will be eligible for replacement. You can return it to us and the shipping charges including the reverse shipping charges will be borne by us. No, we don’t offer exchanges
Yes, if we agree to an exchange/return in exceptional cases, we will refund up to INR 150 for shipping if the wrong product was sent.
We don’t have one
If the product you received is defective, please inform us within 2 days. Since we do not offer reverse shipping, you will need to ship the product back to us. We will refund you up to 150 INR for reverse shipping costs. We need a photocopy of the shipping receipt for the refund. Once we receive the defective product, we will either ship you a replacement immediately or refund the amount you paid when placing the order.
We don’t take returns or exchanges but still in case of wrong product received or has some major weaving defect we take it into consideration and when the below-mentioned points are not fulfilled, returns or exchanges are not possible.
- The return needs to be initiated within 3 days from the date of delivery
- Item(s) of the order should not be used or damaged.
- Tags of the items should be intact and not removed.
- If the saree has been ordered with fall and edging.
- If the product is customised on your request.
- Online Payment: For Orders placed through Online Payment, refunds will be done through payment gateway to the account/card/wallet from which the original payment was made. The refunds will happen within 7-8 days of items being received at the warehouse. It typically takes 1-2 days for refunds to reflect into your account which is completely dependent on your bank.
COD Orders: Not accepted
ORDER
Once your payment is authorised and your order is completed, you will receive an email from Aambal confirming the order placement. You would be provided with the Order Number, details of the order and the amount you have paid. You will also receive an SMS confirming the same
We do not take orders over the phone. The customer would have to place an order on the website
The delivery time varies by location. Typically, it takes 4 to 5 days for all metros and Tier 1 cities. Tier 2 and 3 cities may take 5 to 6 days. Some cities in Northeast India and J&K may take a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 10 days. Due to unforeseen reasons, there might be delays in shipments, and we appreciate your patience. We will do our best to get your shipment delivered as soon as possible.
To check status of your order, scroll down to the bottom most section. There you can find ‘TRACK ORDER’ you can enter the details like order id, AWB no . We will also email you when there is a status update to your order
SHIPPING
A shipping charge of Rs.150 will be applicable to all domestic orders below Rs 2000. The charges will be waived off for an order value of Rs.2000 or above.
Yes, we do deliver all over India. If delivery service is not available through our partnered courier companies, or through India Post. This would be possible only for prepaid orders.
Sorry, we do not ship worldwide now but plan to start shortly.
If the product is in bad condition or the packaging is tampered with, refuse the package and return it to the delivery person. Email us at aambaldesigns@gmail.com with your Order ID, and we will send a replacement at no extra cost and shipping charges.
If items don’t reach the customer within 30 days from shipping, we’ll offer a full refund unless tracking shows delivery was attempted. For packages without tracking, we assume delivery wasn’t attempted and will refund within 7-10 days after a complaint is raised.
